Teyana Taylor informed the judge that her children are confused by her husband’s female friend’s sleepovers as she and her husband Iman Shumpert, are in the midst of a divorce.
TMZ broke the news on Thursday (March 28) that Teyana wants a child psychologist to testify about something that happened when their daughters, Junie, 8, and Rue, 3, were staying with their father a couple of weeks ago.
Taylor and Shumpert announced their split in September 2023, with Taylor filing for divorce in November 2023. Court documents report that Shumpert has the kids every first and third weekend of the month.
According to court documents, Taylor’s husband had a female friend and her daughter staying at his home during his parenting weekend with the kids. Taylor claims her daughter was confused after seeing Iman and his companion sharing a bed. Iman explained that the “friend” was staying with him because her home was “broken.”
Iman’s actions are affecting the children, and Taylor wants a child psychologist to provide input for their divorce case.
