This must have been one hell of a plane ride.
According to a report, a 42-year-old passenger swallowed 246 bags of cocaine before boarding his flight to Mexico City. In the attempt to smuggle drugs into the country, he died from cerebral edema.
He started experiencing seizures shortly after the fight took off. The plane had to do an emergency landing in Mexico’s Sonora state.
Mexico’s federal authorities are investigating the situation.
