It looks like we might have a battle on our hands!
Jason DeRulo just released a brand new single titled “Swalla” which features Nicki Minaj. And it doesn’t like Nicki is holding any punches in her attempt to prove she still has the female MC crown.
In the track she gives the following lyrics:
“I gave these bitches two years, now your time’s up, Bless her heart, she throwing shots but every line sucks.”
Remy Ma has been throwing subtle jabs recently as she shows the world that she is still a force to be reckon with in the female MC game.
Guys we might have a battle on our hands.
Just last year, Nicki Minaj was hoping she would do a track with Remy as she addressed with Ebro in the Morning.
“I think it’s only a matter of time before [Remy] and I do something.”
Last week Remy Ma addressed rumors that she was addressing Nicki subliminally on Ebro in the Morning too.
“First of all, she never did anything to me,” she said. “There’s no reason for me to sub her. I think that’s corny.” She later continued. “Girl never did nothing to me. Number two: history, this is known people, check my history. Any person that I ever had a problem with or felt any type of way about. I’ll have no problem saying your name. I don’t want you sitting there wondering if I’m talking about you. I’m going to say your name, your government name, I’m going to talk about your kids, your dog, your grandma.”
