The woman who sued Takeoff for rape back in 2020 reportedly wants his mother, Titiana Davenport, to step in as the defendant so the lawsuit can continue.

According to the New York Post, the lawsuit was originally filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in August of 2020 accusing the late rapper of sexually assaulting the woman during a party in an Encino home on June 23, 2020. The documents states that she rejected him during several attempts.

She also alleged that Takeoff made her feel uncomfortable before following her into a bedroom where she was assaulted. She was treated at a local hospital, where doctors noted evidence of sexual trauma and alerted the police.

The former Migos member denied all of the allegations at the time and L.A. County District Attorney’s office declined to press charges due to insufficient evidence. He was reportedly set to testify at the beginning of this year.

As previously reported by HOT 97, Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1, 2022.
