It’s official, Cordae has removed ‘YBN’ from his stage name.
Cordae’s name change appeared on his Spotify and TIDAL artist pages, as well as his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The group allegedly split in August 2020. The split was announced by YBN Nahmir in early August, but he didn’t give fans much of a reason. “They left this YBN sh*t in the gutter,” he says. He did confirm with a fan that he is the only member left, which may mean the group did not end on good terms.

No word from the collective as to why the split happened.
