Armani White’s creative spark might’ve gone a little too far this time. The Philadelphia rapper, best known for his 2022 viral anthem “Billie Eilish,” was arrested Sunday night in Kentucky after police say he stopped traffic to film a music video on Interstate 75.
According to the London Police Department, officers were called after multiple drivers reported a man dancing on the concrete median of the highway. When police arrived, they say White and his team had pulled over their vehicle and were in the middle of shooting footage. Authorities say the stunt created a major safety risk for passing drivers.
The 27-year-old Def Jam signee, whose real name is Enoch Tolbert, was booked in Laurel County on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and parking on a limited-access highway. He was later released from the Laurel County Correctional Center. Booking photos circulating online show White without his trademark beaded hairstyle, which police reportedly required him to remove before his mugshot.
