Artist Jeff Robb Drops First-Ever 3-D Hip-Hop Portrait Of Dr. Dre

Acclaimed artist Jeff Robb revolutionized contemporary art by unveiling the first-ever three-dimensional portrait of legendary hip-hop artist and producer Dr. Dre

Captured at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, this work showcases Dr. Dre’s impact using innovative techniques to create an immersive viewing experience. Dr. Dre has created the signature sound for many big names in music, like Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.

“Working with Dr. Dre has been an incredible honor,” Robb said. “His influence on music and culture is unparalleled, and I wanted to create something that truly reflects his impact. The 3D portrait not only showcases his physical presence but also captures the depth of his legacy.”

The portrait uses lenticular photography, a technique dating back to the 1940s, to create holographic-like images that change with different viewing angles, showcasing Dr. Dre’s influence and Robb’s innovation.

Dre’s 3-D portrait marks another milestone in Jeff Robb’s career as a leading innovator in contemporary art. Based in London, Robb is renowned for his pioneering work in lenticular photography and three-dimensional imaging, which has blended technology with traditional artistic techniques over more than thirty years.

Robb’s artwork has been featured in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide, establishing him as a leading figure in the art scene. His diverse portfolio includes thought-provoking abstract compositions and captivating intimate portraits. He undertakes a limited number of private commissions each year, adding to his distinguished work.
