Burna Boy Throws Shade At Jack Harlow For Winning ‘Song Of The Summer’ VMA

Jack Harlow’s ‘First Class’ won a VMA award for ‘Song of The Summer.’ Following the award show- Burna Boy shared a TikTok seemingly throwing shade at Harlow. The TikTok reads, “Wow so many heartbroken people #LastLast#Songofthesummer,” he captions the video. “When MTV Says Jack Harlow Had The Song of the Summer [yawn emoji]” he adds.

Burna Boy previously spoke out about sampling Toni Braxton’s ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough.’ “It was actually my idea [to sample Toni], to be honest. I always wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix [producer] could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that sh-t out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most special creative processes ever, but she is taking 60 percent of the sh*t.”
