Chris Brown Alleges NBA Disinvited Him From All-Star Game

Chris Brown has never been one to mince words, so it’s no surprise that after being allegedly disinvited to the NBA’s 2024 All-Star game, he took to social media to share his disappointment.

On Saturday (Feburary 17), Brown went on Instagram to explain his side of the story. The singer posted two screenshots on his stories, one being the supposed “offical” invitiation and the other regarding a mockup of the potential uniform. The 34-year-old singer claims that his inviation was allegedly rescinded because of the sporting event’s sponsers.

Brown believes that Ruffles (one the event’s sponsors), was behind the move: “I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors, like RUFFLES,” Brown wrote via his Instagram Stories. “At this point I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f*cking past.”

However, Ruffles released a statement shortly thereafter saying they had “no involvment” with the decision.
