Dr. Dre’s divorce battle with his estranged wife, Nicole Young, continues.
In the latest report, Nicole scored a major legal victory. According to The Blast’s legal documents, Nicole got the “green light” to question Dre’s three alleged mistresses.
Nicole served deposition notices to Crystal Rogers, Kili Anderson, and Jillian Spears. She believes Dre’s been giving them money, buying them gifts, and Nicole believes one of the women wore her clothes.
Last year, Nicole wanted the three women to admit that they’re former lovers of Dre, but the three ladies fought against it. According to the news court order, the judge says the three women “may have information relevant to the issue of temporary support and fees as well as the bifurcated trial on the validly and enforceability of the alleged pre-marital agreement.”
Nicole’s attorney, Samantha Spector, also got the judge to make the women pay $2,500 in sanctions after saying the resistance to the deposition was “without substantiation.” The article also notes the judge is limiting the number of questions and wants them to be based on the subject matter.
The biggest battle in Nicole and Dre’s divorce is over a prenup. Dre claims Nicole signed one while she claims she did but was pressured, and Dre later tore it up. Dre wants a Los Angeles Superior judge to determine if the prenup is valid and enforceable, according to the report.
In Jan., Dre was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a brain aneurysm. While he was recovering, he agreed to give Nicole a one-time payment of $2 million in spousal support; she was initially requesting $2 million per month. Also, he agreed to continue to pay the $293,306 he’s paying her monthly, but he didn’t agree to pay $5 million in attorney fees.
