Wallo267, a popular podcaster and motivational speaker, is a completely free man. The 44-year-old was released on parole in 2017 after serving 20 years in prison. According to Wallo’s cousin and co-host Gillie Da Kid, Wallo was granted early release from probation instead of the scheduled 2048 release date.
A clip of the duo celebrating the upliftment surfaced over the weekend, with Gillie toasting Wallo at a private dinner. “Special day for two people that I really love and appreciate,” Gillie’s congratulatory speech began. “So the first toast, but we not gonna drink, is to my cousin Wallo. He got off parole today. He was supposed to be on parole til 2048. God is great. He got off parole today. I love you, cuz. Y’all make some noise for Wallo.”
After being released from prison, Wallo built a buzz on social media through his street interviews and motivational speeches. Gillie and Wallo would launch their podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game in 2019. The podcast secured a deal with Barstool Sports for $3 million in 2020 that was extended in 2022.
Wallo’s career would continue to flourish. In February, he was named Chief Marketing Officer of the REFORM Alliance, which Jay-Z and Meek Mill founded. In the past, Wallo has hosted REFORM events, such as its Casino Night, which led to new Pennsylvania legislation. “I am honored to be taking on this role at REFORM and for the opportunity to help uplift system-impacted communities with new resources and programs,” he said in a press release. “My firsthand experience with the parole and probation system, I believe, is key to helping advance REFORM’s mission.”
In other news, Wallo is featured on the new BigXThaPlug album Take Care, which was released on Friday (October 11). Throughout the album, he delivers motivational messages about family, friends, and accountability. Other artists collaborating with Wallo include Larry June, Toosii, and Conway The Machine.
