A fake comment circulating under one of GloRilla’s recent TikTok posts has sparked confusion across social media, prompting both Glo and Sexyy Red to shut down the rumors. The TikTok at the center of the drama features GloRilla dancing playfully in front of her boyfriend, NBA player Brandon Ingram, while her song “Special” plays. Fans flooded the comment section almost immediately, but one message in particular grabbed attention: it appeared to come from Sexyy Red’s verified account and said, “B***h let’s be sister wives.”
As screenshots spread, speculation ramped up, and GloRilla quickly made it clear the supposed comment was not legitimate. She addressed the situation on X and made sure fans knew the screenshot wasn’t to be believed. “Dats fake stop playing wit me,” she wrote, dismissing the rumor outright.
Sexyy Red also responded once the claim began circulating widely. Although she initially didn’t intend to comment, the strangeness of the situation pushed her to speak out. On X, she denied having anything to do with the post and called out whoever forged it. “I wasn’t even gone say nun but dis is wierd and fake asf I don’t even play des kinda games df… & whoever sat there and thought to do dis is hella lame !!” she said.
Reactions in The Shade Room’s comment section showed how divided audiences were. Some users felt the message matched Sexyy Red’s bold personality and therefore believed it could’ve been real. Others pointed out inconsistencies and argued the alleged comment was clearly fabricated.
Even with the debate continuing among fans, both artists have firmly stated the screenshot was fake. GloRilla and Sexyy Red aligned in shutting down the rumor, emphasizing that neither of them engaged in the exchange and someone intentionally tried to stir up drama using Sexyy’s name.
