The internet would like you to think that things between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake got heated backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
In a now-viral clip, you can see the “Bongos” rapper seemingly animated as she appears to say something to Justin Timberlake right before the reunited N’Sync took the stage to present the award for “Best Pop Song.”
However, it has been revealed that Megan was talking about her first meeting with Timberlake.
According to Variety, the interaction between the two was friendly.
“He said,’ It’s nice to meet you,’ and she said, “No, no this don’t count, this don’t count. We gotta meet proper.’”
