29 year-old James Shaw Jr. has been named a hero after disarming an active shooter at the Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee.

On Saturday night Shaw and his best friend stopped by the Waffle House after having some fun at the club, without knowing that he would later be the reason many lives were saved.

The suspected shooter Travis Reinking arrived at the Waffle House with one motive, and that was to KILL.

Wearing a green jacket, and carrying an AR 15 rifle, Reinking shot and killed two people outside in the parking lot, and entered the establishment to continue on with his shooting spree. Reinking killed two more innocent bystanders before Shaw wrestled the gun out of his hand and tossed it to another side of the restaurant.

Shaw was grazed by a bullet, but ultimately was okay after a quick visit to the hospital. Despite the wild night, Shaw went to Sunday service the next moring at 10:30am.

In a press conference following the shooting the HERO of the night said: I kind of made up my mind, because there was no way to lock that door, that if it was going to come down to it, he was going to have to work to kill me,” “I’m not a hero. I’m just a regular person, and I think anybody could have did what I did if they are just pushed into that kind of cage.

According to reports the shooter, Travis Reinking is still at large and is now on the Top 10 Most Wanted List in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
