Janet Hubert chimed in on Lori Laughlin getting released early from jail.
Lori spent less than two months in jail after pleading guilty to federal crimes. She was involved in the biggest college admissions scam. She admitted to paying $500,000 to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California and posed them as rowing athletes.
Janet reacted to the news on Twitter, she tweeted,
“So when white actresses commit crimes they get new shows, pilots, etc. Lori Loughlin …I assume, will get an Emmy for her time in prison. Hmmmm…oh to be white, blond, and privileged! No thanks I would rather be bold, black, and dignified! #onlyinamerikkka”

What is also sick is how many entitled students STILL get away with it.When they are admitted to college some professors &departments will go above and beyond to make sure they graduate and get admission into law ,medical school,PhD program while others fend for themselves

Waiting for all the justifying of criminal charges!🤔Makes you wonder did any of those students involved actually do their own class work!Or did mommy and daddy pay for those papers along with placement🧐Asking for real students! pic.twitter.com/Euxd3QwoSl

CNN notes one online user commented,
“Lori Loughlin. Pleads guilty to federal crimes. Less than 2 months in prison. Kalief Browder. Falsely accused of stealing a backpack. Couldn’t post bail. Spent 3 yrs at Riker’s awaiting trial. Dies by suicide after release. Justice looks different when you’re poor and Black.”
Full House’s “Aunt Becky” has to serve two years of supervised release, perform 100 hours of community service, and pay a fine of $150,000. Her husband fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, also plead guilty to a conspiracy charge as part of a plea deal. He’s currently serving a five-month sentence and started it in November. Mossimo was also ordered to serve two years of supervised release, perform 250 hours of community service, and pay a $250,000 fine.
