Ray J Reveals Bizarre Face Tattoos Were Fake

After photos surfaced of Ray J sporting several new face tattoos, the singer and reality star now admits, they were fake. Intially, the singer’s new ink caught many off guard and sparked concern. Luckily, that is no longer the case.

Over the weekend, Ray J hopped on Instagram Live to offer an explanation to his fans. It appears that the tattoos were only temporary and had begun fading. He later claimed that it was, in fact, henna. “Okay the tattoos are almost done y’all.”

He continued: “It’s already starting to rub off. I done tried to scrub ’em off, okay? I tried… They henna.” However, the tattoos don’t seem to fading fast enoough and he joked that might be permanant. “I just got to wait y’all,” he then added.

When the singer intially showed off the tattoos, social media users specualted that his mental health might be in jeopardy. However, in response to the backlash, Ray J said that “everybody [was] tripping.” He even alleged that doctors had reached out to him via DM to check in on him.

“I had a few doctors call me and DM me. Thank you, I appreciate the love because if you worried about me, then please let me know. If I’m falling by the wayside, If I’m going left, help me go right. I’ma listen. Straight up.”

That said, there was one person’s critque that seemed to impact him, his sister and iconic R&B star, Brandy Norwood. “My sister hit me and said, ‘Yo, that post that you posted, take that s**t down,’” Ray J admitted. “She said I didn’t look clean, I looked dirty.”

He added, “My mouth was chapped, I got white s**t coming all out my mouth. My sister is mad at me because she doesn’t want my face tattoos. She doesn’t want me to come online irresponsibly. And that’s why I love her.”
