Russell Wilson celebrates his 8th wedding anniversary with Ciara, sharing a sweet compilation of special moments together.
Over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback took to Instagram to share a post filled with clips featuring the “Goodies” singer and their kids: Amora, 6 months, Win, 4, Sienna, 7, and Future Zahir, 10. The video montage also included highlights from their red carpet appearances and their 2016 wedding, accompanied by a heartfelt message to his leading lady.
“Celebrating 8 years of God’s love & grace over us @Ciara!” began Wilson. “Since we met, you’ve been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God blessed me with the most incredible gift in you!”
“I am so grateful for our journey together,” Wilson continued. “Here’s to a lifetime more. I love you Mrs. Wilson to Heaven & back! ❤️.”
Taking to her own Instagram, Ciara wrote of the pairs seemingly perfect union, writing: “”I love walking with you, talking with you, being in your arms, and doing everything with you! I’m the happiest girl because of how you love me! I’m so grateful for our love! 8 years! So proud of us! Yay! Happy Anniversary my love! @DangeRussWilson. I love you so much!”
Ciara and Russell Wilson’s romance kicked off with a March meeting in 2015, followed by a grand reveal a month later. Russell popped the question on March 11, 2016, and they sneakily said ‘I do’ at a castle in England on July 6, 2016.
On the music front, Ciara recently embarked on the Out of This World Tour alongside longtime friends and collaborators, Missy Elliott (headliner), Busta Rhymes and Timbaland.
The 24 city tour, which kicked off in Vancouver on the Fourth of July will be making stops in cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York and Toronto before closing things out on August 22 in Rosemont, Illinois.
