Rumors swirled over the week that Naya Rivera’s sister, Nickayla is romantic with Naya’s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey, who is also the father of their five-year-old son. Headlines surfaced about Nickayla moving in with Ryan. Some photos surfaced online of them holding hands, which lead people to believe they’re in a relationship.
Ryan hopped on Instagram Live to clear up the situation. He said his son, Josey, asked if his aunt Nickayla could move in with them because she’s the closest thing to his mom. He said nothing romantic is going on.
Ryan also said Josey is missing his mother and asked if he could go to heaven to visit her. Ryan explained to Josey that mom is an angel now with God and Josey asked, “well, I want to go there. How do I get there?’”
Ryan also said this is something a parent should never have to hear their child say. Ryan got super emotional and said his life isn’t always “black and white.” He also said Nickayla moving in will be a support system for him.
Online users were nasty toward him and reportedly sent death threats via DM. Ryan said, “I wasn’t even going to speak on any of this, I feel like my head is full with so many things that the last thing I need running through my mind is this bulls**t.” He went on to say how much of a sh**** year 2020 has been and hopes that this video gives clarity to people and they will stay out of his business.
