Here we go again.

Vultures 2, the second installment in the trilogy by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign, which promised a posthumous Takeoff verse, missed its expected due date, disappointing fans one again. The sequel was delayed from its original March 8 release date. When asked about it, Kanye simply replied, “We in the lab.”

Fans expressed disappointment after Vultures 2 failed to release at midnight on Friday morning (May 3), with one questioning their trust in release dates.  “Why I always believe every time he gives us a date?” wrote the user.

Delays and missed release dates have become a common occurrence in Ye’s album rollouts. With delays come revisions and removals of tracks after their release.

Vultures dropped in February with an all-star lineup, including Rick The Kid, Chris Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and more. The album’s hit singles are “Carnival,” “Back To Me,” and “Talking” featuring Ye’s daughter North West.

As fans await Vultures 2, Ye dropped a diss track over Metro Boomin’ and Future’s “Like That” at Future’s request. He told Justin Laboy that the culture wants to see Drake, his longtime nemesis, eliminated.

Despite allegedly punching the restaurant owner at Disneyland after they sexually assaulted his wife, Ye has not been charged. He also settled his lawsuit over YZY trademark.

Ye deactivated his social media accounts last week following the announcement of his upcoming adult content platform, Yeezy Porn.

The decision to pursue adult content under his Yeezy brand and subsequent reactions from fans highlight ongoing complexities in Ye’s public persona and personal journey, particularly regarding issues of faith, addiction, and artistic expression.
