This morning, Beyonce and Jay Z put the world on pause  when they announced they were hitting the road again, together!

The Carters shared the announcement on social media with images and video of the two sitting on a bike with a bull-horned skull on it.

The image was gritty, artistic and engaging, Carter style but the visuals didn’t come from the famous couple!

Their tour poster was inspired by a 1973 Senegalese film’s movie poster, called Touki Bouki. Directed by Djibril Diop Mambéty, the filmed is considered one of Africa’s great films in history. Touki Bouki takes place in Senegal where a couple dreams of going to Paris and leaving the monotonous life they currently live. The two rob, steal and scheme their way to their dream destination. Mory, 1/2 half of couple is a cowherd and drives a bike with a bull-horned skull on it, a la the inspiration for the poster.

I love that they drew their inspo from there because this is just fire!
