As we all know, Cardi B has a great relationship with her fans, and interacts with them regularly through her social media platforms including Instagram Live.
Yesterday (Oct. 3), she was discussing plans to release new music with her fans, when she decided to unveil the possible title to her sophomore album.
“I don’t know if I’m even going to drop music this year anymore,” she said. “Everything that I’m working on right now is going straight to my album, and I think I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods.”
The motivation of her project is a metaphor to the public’s reaction to Tiger Woods following his cheating scandal of 2009, and then being celebrated following his 2019 Masters Tournament win.
“I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods, because remember when everybody was talking s*** on Tiger Woods and then he f***ing came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’m going to name my album.”
