Plenty of women have been asking Ciara what prayer she used to secure her husband, Russell Wilson.
Well, in a new interview she’s spilling the tea. The singer opened up about deciding to abstain from having sex until she was married. The prayer she used to get him, is the same one she used to maintain her abstinence.
“That took a lot of prayer,” Ciara states. “It was hard. I can’t lie.” She also briefly discusses her split from rapper, Future. “If you want to get somewhere in life, you’ve got to have a compass. You’ve got to know where you really want to get. And my heart, soul, spirit, and mind just desired to be loved. To be truly loved the right way… I knew I didn’t want to cry tears of hurt anymore. I didn’t want to keep going around in circles.”
Ciara and NFL player Russell Wilson have been married since July 6th, 2016. The couple share a daughter, Sienna, together. Russell is also a step-father to Ciara’s son with Future.
