The biggest mistake that the NFL has made thus far is blackballing Colin Kaepernick from the league after he took a stance and peacefully protested for social justice.
Over the weekend, the athlete/activist was honored with the Ambassador of Conscience award at the Amnesty International 2018 ceremony in Amsterdam.
Past winners of the award include legendary figures such as Harry Belafonte, Alicia Keys, and Nelson Mandela.
Colin Kaepernick’s good friend and former teammate Eric Reid who also took a knee during the season presented him with the award adding on to the special night.
