DMX is back!
The rapper is going back to his acting ways as he stepped on set to begin filming for his brand new role in New York City.
He has been casted as a detective who is looking for a serial killer who is on the loose in the film Chronicle of a Serial Killer alongside Tara Reid and Brandan Sexton.
X is no stranger to the big screen having had starring roles in films such as Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, and Fresh Off the Boat.
After being released from prison in April after being locked up for tax fraud, DMX celebrated the 20th anniversary of It’s Dark and Hell is Hot with a tour, and has been in the studio with Swizz Beatz working on a new album.
Director Steve Stanulis commented about it on his Instagram page.
Great day shooting day 2 “Chronicle of a Serial Killer,” he wrote.
