The 1991 classic “New Jack City” is getting a reboot.
Complex reports that although there are no specific details about this reboot, it’s already known that Snowfall’s Malcolm M. Mays will be writing it.
In the original movie, Wesley Snipes stars as drug kingpin Nino Brown, who turned a Harlem complex in a crackhouse during the 1980s crack epidemic. The movie also stars Ice -T, Chris Rock, Judd Nelson, and more.
