Although this summer has been jam-packed with releases, there are still plenty of projects to look out for. Many of the upcoming projects have been confirmed by the artists themselves. Here are the ones we know about so far!
J Cole’s The Off-Season/The Fall Off
Rumors first circulated about The Fall Off when Jermaine Cole first unveiled his KOD album back in April. It’s last track, where the rapper unloaded his thoughts about the newer generation of rappers, is titled “1985 – Intro to ‘The Fall Off.’” Then, Cole released the “Album Of The Year (Freestyle)” over the classic Nas “Oochie Wally” beat. At the beginning of the video it says: “What you are about to witness is a master class on preparation. THE OFF-SEASON.”
