Is rapper Ja Rule officially canceled?  If you can remember, Ja Rule received ton of backlash from the festival that never happened. In 2017, Ja Rule and entrepreneur, Billy McFarland, seemingly tricked the whole world. The two were set to throw what was presented as the BIGGEST music festival, ever in history. Unfortunately, the festival actually ended in jail time for Billy McFarland. He was arrested on wire fraud charges and was sentenced to 6 years in prison.

The festival was supposed to take place in the Bahamas, and be a weekend of music, fun, food, and luxury. It turned out to be the opposite. Both Netflix and Hulu released documentaries on the travesty that took place that weekend. The event was anything less than luxury, as seen on the documentaries. Concertgoers actually experienced problems in regards to security, food, sleeping arrangements and a lot more.

Fast forward to 2019- where does that leave Ja Rule?  Does the Fyre Festival disaster cancel his rap career? It seems like the internet can’t get enough of trolling the New York rapper.  From the 50 Cent jokes, to the festival.  Is this terms for early retirement for the rapper?

Ja Rule has had multiple hits topping the charts, dating all the way back to the early 2000’s. He is also a 4 times  Grammy nominated artist and has had 6 top-ten albums. He’s even had his hand in the acting scene starring in movies such as The Fast and The Furious, The Cookout, Scary Movie 3 and many more.
