A huge congratulations is in order to Jay-Z. The Brooklyn- born rapper is now the richest rapper in America. According to Forbes annual ranking of wealthiest celebrities in America, Hov lands in the top five slot, tying with Kylie Jenner.
This ranking was based on Jay’s published earnings, private stakes, as well as his publicly traded assets. Jay has also seen a major increase in his income of $90 million last year, mostly due to his stakes in many companies such as Roc Nation, Tidal, and his two liquor companies Armand de Brignac and D’usse. Jay passes fellow rapper Diddy and trails behind Oprah, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Michael Jordan.
Jay-Z net worth is estimated to be $900 million.
