Since terminating his deal with TIDAL a few months ago, the rift between Kanye West and his “big brother” (?) Jay Z grew. From ‘Ye suing TIDAL for money owed for his Life of Pablo streams to the tension reaching it’s tipping point when he went off on Beyonce at his concert, it felt like their friendship would never be mended.
Now, the drama may reach new heights because it’s going into their pockets.
According to The Blast, Yeezy filed a trademark under the name “Yeezy Sound” for purposes that include “streaming of music, audio, images, video and other multimedia content over the internet, mobile devices, wireless networks, and other computer networks and electronic communications networks. “
