LeBron James just shared a 62-song playlist on Apple Music featuring hand-picked songs by women only. The playlist, titled “The Strongest,” is an homage to African American women who uplift people through their music,.

“I believe that African American women are some of the strongest people on earth,” LeBron James says about his inspiration behind the selection of songs. “I grew up around some amazingly strong women and am inspired by the strength I see around, including my mom, wife, and daughter.”

“The Strongest” features several names who have rightfully earned their guaranteed spot in any powerful women-themed list, such as Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Cardi B, and Solange. However, James takes this as an opportunity to show off his current ear for newer talent as well. He made sure to include recent bubbling artists like Dreamville’s very own Ari Lennox and also Bay Area rapper Saweetie. The songs stretch from old to new, and represent a wide range of sounds. It’s clear that James added to the list pretty randomly as he went along, the theme of powerful women being his only standard.
