As each month passes, Game of Thrones fans are becoming more anxious as they await the fate of their beloved characters.

Up until now, fans still don’t know what to expect in the upcoming final season due to the tight-lipped  set and social media ban. But that’s peanuts compared to the levels the show took to keep spoilers from coming out — they had machines on call that would shoot down paparazzi drones flying overhead.

Yes, it’s that serious.

So, what do we know about the highly anticipated Season 8 at this point?

First, the season premiere is said to be airing in Spring 2019, episodes are going to be longer (some doubling in airtime), the storyline will be “bittersweet”, and sadly, there are only six episodes.

Aside from the announcement of HBO’s prequel to the GOT franchise, “The Long Night” starring Naomi Watts earlier this week, we still don’t know much….until now.

Entertainment Weekly froze the world over this morning when they released their cover starring Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow).
