The mastermind behind the international hit ‘Wake Me Up’ has unfortunately passed away at the tender age of 28 years old.
DJ Avicii, formerly known as Tim Bergling has suffered from acute pancreatitis in the year 2012, however, at the moment, his cause of death remains unknown.
His publicist Diana Baron made a statement confirming his death:
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.
