It has been over three years since Rihanna released her eighth studio album, ‘Anti,’ and fans are begging for updates on the release of her tentatively titled project, ‘R9.’

In a light-hearted take on the anticipation for the album, Rihanna trolled her fans with a t-shirt embellished with the phrase “No More Music” at the Fenty pop-up shop in New York City on Tuesday. The $230 Fenty t-shirt was one of the many items featured in at the SoHo pop-up shop, accompanied by dresses, accessories, and other t-shirts that pay homage to Barbados and immigrant appreciation.

While the “No More Music” phrase may sound alarming, the richest female musician in the world will not let her business endeavors deter her from dropping music.

In an interview published last week by Interview Magazine, the 31-year-old singer/mogul claims to be returning to the studio next month.

“It really does suck that it can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now. I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete,” Rihanna said. “It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, ‘Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out.’” In addition, she also explained that the reason her music is taking long to be put out is because of her attention being divided by her lingerie and beauty ventures. “I used to be in the studio, only the studio, for three months straight, and an album would come out. Now, it’s like a carousel. I do fashion one day, lingerie the next, beauty the next, then music the next.”

While it may be some time before Rihanna releases ‘R9,’ the new Fenty collection is now available online for purchase.

The NYC pop-up shop, described as a “two-story immersive experience,” will be open to the public from June 19 until June 30th.
