Future was feeling some kind of way about how everything went down after the release of “Like That.”

In an upcoming interview with GQ, Future shared his true feelings about Kendrick Lamar’s verse that sparked his feud with Drake. He says that Dot excluded him from the “Big Three” conversation on his own track.

“I’m supposed to be the one who gets mad and I’m still confused about that,” Future said.

Future said he was taken aback by the verse, although Kendrick aimed at Drake and J. Cole on the song.

“Nobody cares about what I think,” Future added. “That’s what was so f*cked up about the sh*t.”

“I ain’t part of this Big Three, I’m nobody on my song, man,” he continued. Like, why is everybody mad when he was talking about me on my song?”

Interestingly, Future said that he was not aware of the ongoing tension that was bubbling with the “Big Three.”

“There was a beef?,” Future asked. “I didn’t even know there was a beef. I didn’t even know they had nothing going on. Ain’t never participated in rap battles, man…”

On “First Person Shooter”, Drake and J. Cole first acknowledged the Big 3 discussion. J. Cole declared he was the Muhammed Ali of the three.

“Like That,” appears and Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You album and track took the beef to another level.

Kendrick rapped, “It’s up, lost too many soldiers not to play it safe/If he walk around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3K/Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/M*therf*ck the big three, ni**a, it’s just big me.”

Despite the tensions, “Like That” was a commercial success, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for three straight weeks.

“Like That” received several Grammy nominations including Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
