Legendary civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, 79, and his wife, Jacqueline Jackson, 77, are in the hospital after testing positive for COVID.
Jesse, who’s been a big advocate for the vaccine, got it in March, so hopefully, he’ll face little to no complications. Back in 2017, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. As reported on CNN, in February, Jesse underwent successful surgery after being hospitalized for abdominal discomfort.
The Jacksons are both being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. As reported on Yahoo, “Doctors are currently monitoring the condition of both.”
